756 Fleet Parked?

As of right this moment, yes.
UAL only had a small number of 756s flying in May to start with.
We don't know if it's because the loads are light so operationally it makes sense to simplify and operate lower cost 737s on the domestic segments, or if it's a temporary issue while trips are being rebuilt, or if it's a preview of things to come.
Things are changing on a minute by minute basis, so standby to standby.
There's lots of 756 pilots with AV days and RSV in May, so if this is just a temporary issue of rebuilding the flying there's plenty of coverage.

A little bit of communication as to what the newest plan is would be nice. I don’t expect long term plan obviously. But simply why no flying is shown past the 3rd would be nice? Maybe if there is a possibility of new flying being built as the days progress, more planes to long term parking, etc.

Nobody on the fleet is going to take an ersl if they know the fleet is parked. They will leave June flights in system to scare people into taking leave.

We will likely come out of this with three fleet types.

I could see that. But at the same time, now all of those pilots that took eSRL’s or empty lines for May could be kicking themselves and will roll the dice for June being an easy 73 hours. Time will tell just what the hell the company thinks they are doing with us I suppose.

jk, I'm not even on the fleet, but I wonder about the timing on this one. It appears they made sure to squeeze out every eSRL and empty line they could before announcing this.
