Sticking to one figure publicly for now, 30%, as ugly as it is, gives them some room to flex up or down when OCT 1st gets closer. Also am not trying to be callous as I’m guessing I might be included in the “cull”.

if AA and SWA and DL are going relatively big in July that maybe sparks some demand and opens up room for justifying a much bigger AUG schedule for us which could start really improving the overall outlook for furloughs. In the mean time I’m glad our MEC is not in the mood for any concessions.
So we are hoping our competitors generate demand...and then we will decide how to react? That sounds like a losing strategy

About 2315 pilots (Most senior is Dec 16 newhire) at Delta going to UNA (Unassigned) category. No training involved. Allows the company to expedite furloughs, if need be, come October.

not endorsing. no clue. perhaps Kirby thinks it’s the lesser of two evils and if things improve we can pump demand with ticket price, ads and upgrades to catch up, or we burn less cash if things continue to suck. hoping for former and a better August.

Is their any way to check to see where the G-line was in previous months? I looked through PBS and didn’t see anything. It would be interesting to see if the G-line is improving month to month.

What we normally do ... sit around and watch the competitors for 6 months to a year then announce we are going to do what they have been doing ... announce with great fanfare of course.

If you save the bidding and G-line parameters document in PBS, one of the columns is G-line number and FN of the guy, it's in Documents tab, on the first page after log in of PBS.

Unfortunately, as far as I know, they put out a new one each time bidding is open. I don't know where you might find old ones. I have all of them the last couple of years if you are interested. PM me if interested.
