I think they knocked it outta the park especially with the furlough options.

There are some great and creative options for those of us looking at furloughs. IMHO, very forward thinking.

I’m curious what you were expecting? This seems to be (exactly) in line with American and Delta.

For a widebody Capt, $250K/yr, paid move, enhanced travel, & active pilot medical rates.

It’s voluntary, and one more option available that the pilot group didn’t have last week. $20K/mo to not go to work, I’d be all over that.

Seriously. Free money to walk out the gosh darn door and never look back! At a time when going to work sucks and Is dangerous!!

Early out is solid.
But I would've like to seen paid cola like Southwest, Alaska, Hawaiian
Does an empty line pay 20 hours a month? or 20 hours for 8 months?

An empty line is just that: Zero hours. You get paid for what you pick up from open flying, ie. no guarantee. That’s essentially the same program we’ve had since April. Good question on the 20 hours, it sound like a one time bonus payout for the zero line risk.

For the paid COLA, you have to be 63 :)

For a 777/787 Capt being displaced this is only about a $5k/mo decrease in pay. The difference is even less for an FO.

The furlough plus options are very creative as well and would prepare us for a quick recovery..

At first glance I'm impressed by the creativity.

Some of that is clearer now with the emails. I was reading the actual documents on the ALPA website. I think you are correct.

Can someone post a summary for us curious Delta guys? Hope it's good and you guys are able to limit/avoid furloughs.
