My best earning years have been under Trump. Neither your point or mine are indicative of anything without further context.
I’m sure an administration whose anti-white, anti-middle class, anti-carbon is gonna do wonders for our careers.
As to the 4th stripe, still wearing it. For how long? Who knows. Not too concerned about it. I’ve yet to turn 35. I’m sure I’ll be alright in the long run.

Here's the problem. Depending on your political POV, one can spin it any way they like.
Prior to COVID, no one was making silly statements that Trump was trashing our industry or our wages. In fact, the last four years prior to COVID have been THE BEST of my flying career. And it was the same with yours - you are being dishonest if you say that things weren't the best you'd seen pre-COVID.
MY concern with a change of parties in the White House is that the new occupants like to blame everything bad that's happening on the last occupant AND they try to get the financial pain out of the way early in their term of office. That allows them to:
1) have a better economy when they're up for reelection, and
2) blame all the bad stuff on the last guy.
This isn't anything new; it happens just about every time there's a change of party in the White House.
If there were a D POTUS right now, I'd be worried if an R took over in Jan 2021 because they run the exact same playbook.
I want no change to status quo as far as balance of power goes.

The seniority movement is the result of age 65 finally catching up (changes from age 60 under Bush),
the growth was the result of a successful company executing its business plan. That plan was formed and in effect before Trump took office (think massive 737, 787 orders and deliveries AND 777-300 orders)
Finally, our current contract was signed while a Dem was in office. Have we seen a new contract under Trump? Nope.
so, stop being afraid, crack a cold one and make a change in November.

I guess lack of critical thought and lack of understanding of complex ideas is all the rage. It's almost as if one has to purposely ignore reality to reach some conclusions I see here.

Your attitude and misinformed beliefs will bring misfortune upon us all. Sometimes you need to touch the hot stove to learn.

Thanks for the support. We’re all in this together. And for the record I consider myself extremely lucky.

I’m sure if we’ve sat down to compared upbringings and life/work experience you’d come away with having a charmed life. Being poor and seeing the system first hand gives someone a little perspective. But keep preaching 👍🏻
