Keeping the “inner scab” from coming out only matters if we have people on furlough. THEN it matters hugely. If not, it’s the same as it’s always been. Everything else being equal, the most senior bird gets the worm.

The pay raise at the end is only 5%. Not exactly decent... won't even cover inflation since the time our UPA was amendable.
Also, who cares about a pay rate increase after a third of our pilot group has given half of their salaries back to the company.

I did a little home study. You appear to be correct. Interesting. My wife lots her job too. Another pay cut for me means big time problems. Left seat from big airplane to little airplane, plus the decrease in productivity is really three pay cuts since March. One more via a LOA or AIP means a fourth. Nice to see our full time trip loss sausage making brethren are eating at the same food trough as the help. Basically, we will have Captains making FO wages on their take home pay.
Who is making the deals to buy the votes? What is the gain? Is this all about personal loyalty and allegiances to specific MEC officers? What is the pay off or payback?
