not really. if the full amount of any offered loan or aid isn’t taken no furloughs until DEC 2021 (IIRC)

if and when we fly more the first 2/3 MPG improves accordingly so that hit (yes it’s a hit) becomes less.

if we’re still still under 40% or less in 24 months you and me and just about everyone is going to have a less than fun outcome no matter what contract or TA we’re under.

I find it a bit ironic that a group of right leaning pilots would be so quick to join in support of a socialistic concept such as this TA...,
I guess your ideology can get kind of fuzzy when you’re on the receiving end...

Thank you C12 for doing the right thing
and not jumping in line.
Leadership.....

Hope the moderators take a good look at your personal insults... maybe we’ll get a vacation from your BS

They use the example of someone displaced out of SFO 737 CA, that person would have to have a bid for SFO 737 CA at 100% to qualify. How do pilots displaced when bases closed in meet these requirements? A displaced IAH 777 pilot, or a LAX 756 pilot can’t bid their former BES if it no longer exists.

Great question!

What happens to my “carve out” displacement pay protection if the company decides to park a fleet, Airbus, and my 100% Capt vacancy bid? The TA lists no “trigger” for parking a fleet.

24 mos of cuts for 9 mos of furlough protection

Paragraph K.2 does need the ALPA finance guy to explain what this means on the virtual road show. He’s the only one on any of the zoom love-a-thons the union has put out that’s been an effective communicator. Not saying it’s a deal breaker but I have a feeling it means we will have this TA for the full 2 years. Assume that and decide I guess.

That’s my going in assumption, full two years of this TA for those left on property and 8 months of the TA for the bottom 2850 or so.
