Read Hard Landings. Then On Wooden Wings. Talk to some of the guys who were here when Ferris, Lorenzo and Tilton were in charge. You might just learn something useful before you grab the big Yes lever again. The foundations of the union that made this job worth having have just been badly fractured. as far as your question. I have seen Kirby speak several times his ego is MASSIVE. He wants to be a Howard huges or Juan Tripp. He wants the entire world to think United when they want to fly. His team has put more flying into our JV hubs. They fought LH to make the JV more fair. I remember when there was LH birds all over our hubs and we had a couple flights to FRA and one offs to MUC.

look at where he was deploying the 787s prior too Covid and even now. We have started routes all over the world to place UA and CAL never got close too.

I also believe he has handled this crisis better than any other airline. I believe him when he says he wants to crush everyone and runaway with the ball on the other side of this. We will see if he can.
