This info tracks with what I’ve been told first hand by someone that just flew it. They also had the “never again” qualifier.
One thing that’s being left out is the Sani-tabs you have to throw in the toilet and let mellow for at least an hour before flushing. There were multiple articles investigating COVID19 spread in Chinese high rise sewer pipes. Apparently the required field hotel doesn’t have a plumbing water seal between rooms/floors. This setup was attributed to the spread of COVID19.
Here’s an article that addresses the potential danger of a common plumbing vent line which seems to be the standard technique in China.

You really are a dolt. I was told this directly by someone who flew there so I guess he would be lying then. As far as evaluating this pos, myself along with 42% of your fellow pilots saw this for what it is. A socialist scheme with very little upside subsidizing the company. A scheme that no doubt my cut in pay funds your ass on the property. I can’t wait for the excuses next year for round two of why we will need to give more.

Regards the topic in question, it’s annoying that people post crap that they have zero personal knowledge of....to be refuted in a later post, no less, by someone with actual experience. Huggy was right to call BS.

I guess you find his trolling entertaining. You must admit, he is an expert on everything. Even something that over 40 percent of the guys he works with take significant issue with. He summarily dismisses any criticism with pithy commentary, just like his side kick. It's getting old.

Must be doing things different as we had choices, and also we were able to change the time of the food. Trust me Dave I don't like it all but just reporting how we saw and did things. Im sure you already did but if not let your flight office know that some bases are getting food choices. JMO
My feeling is that the first few times, they had better treatment. It seems to be degenerating.

BTW, I did hear back from the SFO LEC. They are working on it. But I doubt things will change until after the election. Everything politics may change after that date.
My point is that I was concerned with my safety. That should never happen on a layover, no matter the politics of the situation.
