It’s worked pretty good for me so far. I haven’t touched a plane in 8 month and no training assigned........ yet. Non-qual at home is a nice place to ride this out.

Cheers to riding out the pandemic at home on DNF! Sounds like we are in the same boat from when we flew last. Hope we can clear the 12 month club!

Even if things get better between now and March (12 months for me), this LOA with the half baked redo process and subsequent displacements to follow could very easily keep guys like myself and Hedley out until March while manpower/training tries to untangle this mess.

Do those guidelines have much impact on a guy like myself that’s DNF on a closed base that is currently awarded a different aircraft and likely about to be displaced again? I’m still within the published headcount on the 87, but could easily see myself getting bumped after first displacement results come in. So maybe at best I’m landing in a seat I will keep in late December.

Fixed it for you. Certainly the 787 doesn’t need 600+ FOs in some BES. Sorry but new hires shouldn’t be able to hold that plane. Not saying you’re a new hire. It will be interesting to watch.

I would agree! 6 years in for me and barely within the published headcount and highly doubting I will hold it is crazy from where we were at last year this time with half wingers holding it.
