Solid win for Delta management.
have you read the full LOA? And I wasn't comparing the DL deal to the United deal. Its great that you keep your current payrate. There's solid wins in the Delta LOA for the long term. The DL deal passed by a large majority. Don't forget the 1800 pilots who took an early retirement at their locked in payrates.

I thought someone posted that Delta is also approaching cash burn zero. Maybe they can afford a different deal.

Our deal is a huge win. It’s not perfect, but mainly solid gains and the only give is some Pilots will temporarily have a lower guarantee, at most about 3 hours a month maximum. Narrow body guys may see zero decrease. While positive space commuting to and from base is also temporary- 12 months minimum, we received a bunch of permanent gains including a productivity win and a permanent lowering of the premium pay trigger.

For some guys every day is a rainy day but when our Pilots evaluated this deal it passed overwhelmingly which means the majority Pilots both senior and junior approved it.

Happy Turkey day all!

Don’t forget they parked fleets permanently.

So at Delta pilots in the same seat with the same longevity are all paid at the same rate? Wow, incredible. Who knew that would turn into such a novel concept in 2020...

BS. I’ve got guys 2000 numbers junior pay protected. I’ve got guys 2000 numbers junior flying 90 while I get a line with 25 hours and mpg of 53. This is a sh1t deal.

Not casting stones, kudos to all. However, I don't know the terminology but weren't your line values scheduled to go up significantly starting next month due to the low summer schedules? After a few months I agree with the 3 hours but in the meantime..... Coupla bucks.

Once again, great work by both groups.

For me, I'm happy to work slightly less every month, especially these days. I don't know the exact calculus, but even If it means working two less days for the next couple months, and on average half a day thereafter, I'm happy with that. I've always found 18-19 days off is the sweet spot for a happy life. This LOA brings us ever so slightly closer to that on average.

My precise heartache with this deal....the guys who we threw a lifeline to are feasting on Filet Mignon and Cristal, and the rest of us are paying for it.
