Are you taking about the months if attacks on federal buildings in Portland and Seattle?

No reason to use RICO there, plain old criminal prosecution works much better.

I didn’t ask for a descriptor, I asked how it could be proven.

It's similar to Nation building. Some people just can't help themselves.

My two daughters grew up flying. One still likes to go up and do a loop or two. The other wants nothing to do with airplanes other than the necessary evil of riding in an airliner to vacation somewhere beautiful.

They had all the opportunity in the world to be airline pilots. One is a biomedical researcher the other is in Vet school. Flying for a living is simply unappealing to them. And that doesn’t bother me at all. Flying is something you really have to enjoy and want to do. You can’t be good at it if you don’t enjoy it.

Agreed, until you try to do big brother/big sister and are told you’re not similar/same or a good fit due to racial demographics/relatability, etc.

Or try to foster or adopt kids who need a home and get told no due to ethnic/religious reasons.

Same though process. Yes, a 2 year old Jewish orphan from an Eastern European country won't be able to relate.

My wife is Jewish. MY MOM IS FROM THE EASTERN EURO COUNTRY WE WERE TRYING TO ADOPT FROM (Latvia)(but not Jewish, therefore I'm not, even though my dad was)

I look like a normal Latvian. That is basically German with dark hair and eyes. Wifes family is from that part of the world and is the same religion. People that didn't know we didn't have the kid naturally would have no idea she wasn't ours genetically.

Try to foster to adopt. "Well, this child half black and won't be able to relate to a white family"

I've seen how half black kids get treated. Its usually the black kids that won't accept them. Best friend growing up was half Cape Verdean (black Portuguese) and half Italian.

His moms family, totally accepting. Very hut or miss with his dads family.

Saying that a role model has to “look like them” is saying that a certain race or gender is an inherent required trait someone has to have to be considered a role model. That perpetuates identity politics and is a clear example of judging people by their race/gender (racism/sexism), the exact opposite of what we should be doing as a society. I had several black role models growing up. They didn’t look like me. And that didn’t matter.

Minorities and women have been flying commercially and in the military for a long time. If you can’t find a role model in aviation in 2021 (that is, if one of your requirements for a role model is that they have the same skin pigment and genitalia as you), then you aren’t looking.

No way, you’re “white”, and ALL “white” people are the same with no ethnocentric/cultural/religious differences what so ever.

Your daughters had an opportunity and a choice. So would it be presumptive to assume that you are in favor of giving exposure and access to aviation to groups that are underrepresented and do not have that access, in their youth for example, so they can make an informed decision whether or not professional aviation is a desirable career?
