You are compensated well enough to buy salads and drink water during the layover vice burgers etc. Our flights are catered in accordance with the contract and you can request speciality "lighter choice" meals which are typically like our normal meals minus the cheesecake or cookies. The only people I know that routinely bring coolers are the FAs but they also have time/space to heat their own food etc...

Yet he doesn’t know what the baggage limits are or what to take to training?

Sorry, I’m not buying it……..

He’s a tiny troll.

Hearing a lot of talk about a MCO pilot base. Any validity?

Thanks for the info, I like the cooler since I can store my uneaten crew meals for later. I can save some serious cash over the long haul.

Are most trips 3 or 4 days?

The crew meals are served on china. I don't think United wants us taking them with us to the hotel. Every once in a while you will get a "shelf stable" crew meal that is usually a pre-packaged (preserved with a ton of sodium) quinoa bowl. I keep one of those in my bag as a backup.

You get a good amount for per diem. You will have no trouble saving money without being so frugal as to try to save hot crew meals for later.

There is no way most of what you have said lately is real. Between asking about toting around a tool case as luggage, saving crew meals… my guess is this is just trolling. If that’s the case, please post elsewhere. Serious questions get lost.

Exactly!!! I don't mind answering sincere questions but ludicrous trolling needs to stop.
