Awesome, thank you!

Quote: Side note for SuperFlier if he is paying attention - what I wrote about above applies to your question in the United Bases thread about a two leg commute to a line vs. a one leg commute to reserve. As a junior line holder you won’t have much ability to get a decent line or trade it.
Copy…thanks!

From what I hear is, that you’re a month, maybe two on reserve if you chose the 737. The flying is also supposedly more interesting out of EWR. How about the 320 out of EWR? Since it’s not growing like the 737 fleet it looks like a much longer time on reserve. Has anyone an idea how long it takes to hold a line on 320 EWR? Is it also still true that the flying is more regional style with multiple legs a day?

Not sure about it length of time on reserve, but the seniority of the g-line is basically the same between EWR 320 & 737, so the length on the reserve would be pretty similar. At the moment the trips are pretty much the same too. (1,2 or 3 legs a day to primarily CONUS destinations. Historically, the bus just does the lower 48, Canada and some places in Mexico, whereas the 737 had more destinations.

that would require equal rate seniority progression, no?

Speaking of IAH , Need to get done with training IAH 737 FO , then gonna need to base swap with someone in EWR ASAP . I have no desire to go to IAH but had to switch to avoid a longer lock ... hoping some newish hire what’s to do a trade.

Yes, for that base/fleet comparison at the that seniority it is about the same. The bus is a little more junior in general, though.

The base trade window opens on the 8th for Feb trades. Just look in crew resources on FT and fill out the form when the window opens.

That base trade will have many takers. Should be a lock.
