nah dude. This is a group 6 guys that can’t push away from the inter webs and refuse to not get the last word. Some of them don’t even work here. I’m unvaccinated and fly the triple. My experience has been 1 of 3 responses:

1. You turned down the money?
2. This mandate is BS, hope your exemption is approved.
3. I’ll slip you my vaccine card under the table at the hotel lobby so you can get free drinks.

aside from like 6 people out of 13000 no one is an actual dick about it in the cockpit.

on the bright side I got my exemption approved immediately after they announced that if I accept it I’ll be placed on unpaid leave. Since I’m not independently wealthy I’ll be turning the reasonable accommodation down and getting vaccinated in the next 2 weeks.

hopefully soon we can turn our insults back to the scabs instead of the unvaccinated. 😉

They and 99% of the population don’t need to. Kids are twice are as likely to die of the flu in a third of the same time span as covid. If you think kids should be locked up and/or wear masks for covid, but not for flu… you’re a hypocrite. Math is now apparently a conspiracy theory

Dont worry. I got the joke. It just misses the mark when you come across as someone who thinks kids need to be sheltered from society. If you don’t believe that then I apologize.

 

I’d rather see people die and we stay free. Forced vaccinations is anti American from my understanding of the constitution and our forefathers hopes. I’m willing to die, so others aren’t forced to be vaccinated, that’s how I see it. I personally believe in vaccines including this one, but compulsion is not inline with freedom. I believe there is no risk worth sacrificing freedom for and this one is not proving to be worth the attitude too many have taken in response.

 

I wholeheartedly agree. Even if a doctor gave me 1 day to live and he said we could give you this miracle drug that will erase your symptoms immediately, but you can only have it if we let the government and private businesses have complete control over everyone’s life… I’d tell him, “nope!! Just pull the plug then”.

Plus, if this was Ebola you wouldn’t have to mandate it. Pretty sure 99% of everyone would be scared enough to get the shot even if it had 10x the side effects of these vaccines.

Earlier this year, I was actually contemplating getting the vaccine when it was available for my age group. Now, with every new restriction, it makes me not want to get it even more. To motivate people to get the shot they’re being very counterproductive. Although, I guess it doesn’t matter if you’re gonna be forced one or another. I have a feeling the goalposts will be moved at least another 5 times and we still won’t be any better off than we were before.
