But the UPA says you can’t be on probation. Idk how one gets off probation without flying

FOM 1.10.3 is pretty clear. Electronic page 108 of the current manual. There are no set company hours.

Wasn’t there an FAA thing where one had to have 1,000 hours 121 or if military background 500 121 hours? Or has that changed with the “pilot shortage “?

you need to have 1000 hours of one of several types of experience. 121 sic or various other options
