Could be anything from age to other demographics. They blend all of the classes on a myriad of factors.

I’m in the same boat, brother. Had another pilot get the same canned email when inquiring to the recruiting team. That just tells me it’s just patience.

Interviewed 8/24 and received (another) TBNT this afternoon. Over 11000TT, over 6000 TPIC, 2 checkride failures (1 over 20 years ago and another 13 years ago), multiple LOR's/references and have paid for 3 different interview preps and have attended 3 meet-and-greets. My application has been in for over 10 years. At this point I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and I'm pretty disappointed if I'm being honest. This is my dream airline and I just can't seem to get that CJO. Hoping you had better luck than I.

has any new hire been granted a RAP? Wondering if it’s a waste of time to even complete the app.

Welcome!

If you haven't yet, join the Half Wingers FB Group. Lots of info in there.

8/4 interview, 8/5 CJO, 8/7 offered 9/20 class date. They said to expect early to mid October at the interview, so it was faster than expected.

They're literally scraping the bottom of the barrel to find applicants right now, so I wouldn't be so sure about that.

There was a system in place a few years ago. You are grouped by the week you interview and recieve a cjo. It used to go wed to wed or thur to thur or whenever the review board met. Everyone that interviewed in that week and recieved a cjo is then sorted by last four of your social. I forget if higher or lower went first. You are pulled out of that group in that order for classes. United has been sued over every step in the process over the years and there has to be a process to eliminate preferential treatment. Once you are in class seniority is age based.

This is good information. My last four are a "lower" number and I am going on 4 weeks to hear, so I am guessing higher numbers go first possibly. There are people from my group who already got called for class.
