A few that were waiting on class dates received "update your airline apps" email while those with same CJO dates received BI start date emails. Draw your own conclusions.
Class date emails have been sent out on different days of the week over the last 2 months. I refresh my inbox and check my spam every 30 seconds to make sure I don't get boxed out of the next class. It's exhausting.

so what does it REALLY mean when you get "update your apps" versus getting a firm class date after CJO?

So the CJOs mean nothing? Or are they politely canceling their CJO'S by pushing the class date more further until they never get back to the applicant? 🥺

Why start the fear? it’s 1 week a class didn’t happen, a redoc class went through this week. Summer flying is starting and capacity to train is probably winding down. Let’s all calm down and I am sure classes will resume.

There are already classes planned, so it's not like they have stopped altogether.

There is a back log of LCA and instructor training. There was also word of hiring to pause for a moment. Too much new hire training. They don’t want you to finish indoc then go home for a month on the payroll because they’re aren’t any LCA or instructors to train you. Relax.
