Off topic. But for all you hot shot tippers out there, you start tipping your Amazon driver yet?
I guess that’s a thing now. You know, when one of the wealthiest companies in the world founded by one of the wealthiest men in the world can’t pay its own drivers a viable wage, just tip your way out of it.
We got some suckers on this website who will look down their noses at other people for not tipping these guys.
Or are we exempt from this one because we aren’t in our Pilot uniforms and therefore it doesn’t reflect negatively on us?

A) for me….the tip isn’t for lifting bags…I can do that. The tip is for being at the curb when we get there.

B) this wasn’t a tipping thread. That has been done to death already on APC.
C) the transportation still sucks in many places….and yes, block+26 and I’m already finding self-help options…..but Concur is a PITA.

Where did I say $5 is better than $2 or otherwise “good”? I’m merely pointing out the hypocrisy of some that demand inflation based wage increases when that same person were tipping $Y for a given service X years ago, and that $Y was appropriate in 199X, then based on their own logic, how is the same $Y appropriate now? By the same logic, you’re tipping less, which is completely fine but at least be honest with yourself that you’re tipping less. You can’t have it both ways.
