Default TA gets even worse: LCAs may lose pay

I just heard from an LCA, and it turns out this TA isn’t the golden ticket the MEC is making it out to be for them.

Under the current book, LCAs get paid the override for the entire trip.

With the TA, it is per leg:

Paid LCA Override for each leg LCA duty is conducted
If the entire trip is an LCA trip, the override applies to any Rig pay

Apparently, many LCA trips are only partial LCA trips, so even with the hourly pay increase, they may be losing pay overall.

The MEC solved Kirby’s LCA problem, and even managed to screw the LCAs while they were at it!

This is mainly an issue with Line Checks. I'm not clear on how DHs are accounted for in the TA?
