It was so frustrating listening to the “Road Show” today. Brown sounds like a person who has not flown the line in decades. The NC is clueless. 🤦🏾‍♂️

What happens when Delta rates are higher than inflation adjusted UAL rates???
The lead negotiator stated it was not considered.

what the negotiations team was saying is that a pay raise commensurate to the rise in inflation over the last 3.5 years was not the goal. My goal is 15% now and 4% into bplan. At a minimum. Slice the pie however you like it but overall compensation is way off the mark.

I like those numbers, but what are they based off of? If I put NB 12 CA in the Dept of Labors CPI calculator it
Comes back with about $320 right now (not $300). However if I look back 5+ years we appear to be well above inflation rates. It’s just difficult to separate short term inflation jumps with long term inflation averages. I think that’s where the 2 year contract duration makes sense, it sets us up to pattern bargain with other pilot groups as economy changes.

They’ll need to be unceremoniously tossed out. Looking forward to seeing them on the line.
Good luck with that given the EWR reps and how they have bent over backwards for Insler and his minions. And yes, I’m aware the Chair voted no. Very smart move on his part. He knew the votes were there and played a very smart card of no accountability when we all know he supported this right up to the vote.

NO vote is in, and I totally agree…these fools empathizing for the company need to go- especially Brad

Let’s not forget CA and CO. So, literally every state we have a domicile in, and especially prices near the airports

Well,, if we had a “Me too” clause, we’d get a raise. But somehow “that backfired on the Company” last time because they had to pay it.

This company tried to fire 2500 of us last year. FUPM.

To be fair, he's right. Housing costs have way outpaced inflation 😬

The other thing this allows C-5 Chair to do is delay the CON position paper, since he also gets a say in it.
