Lol okay. Back to blaming the government as if there aren’t thriving businesses in this country. Alrighty then, carry on.

Another flaw with the TA……once 65+ have infiltrated TK their buddies approaching 65 will have more ammo with their elected representation to push for extending their time on the line. “Pilots like us are teaching people to fly these airplanes….so shouldn’t we be allowed to keep flying them on the line??”
Nope…..you’re done……

Neat quote that holds no relevancy. A strong business will survive and thrive because their plan either included the framework that was before it or was innovative enough to adapt to changing times. The rest will fail and that’s healthy.

This is what happens in a profession that pays very well, where people often make great sacrifice to get into, and love their job (as opposed to vice presidents of big companies)..and an artificial, and somewhat arbitrary rule is imposed to kick them out.
US airline pilots tend to have an simple, self serving and ignorant world view of some politics and safety.
Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Russian Federation, Senegal, and Ukraine have no upper age limit,
Fifty-five other countries have an upper age limit higher than 60 years, ranging from 62 to 72 years. Yet, we don’t hear about airplanes falling out of the sky due to older pilot incapacitation, mental or physical.
Some genuine honesty would be refreshing, even if crass, such as “I like my job or just want more money, and I don’t care about your dreams, needs, rights or desires.”
All these other peripheral false justifications are embarrassing to the profession.
