I got that system wide email too about PIC time.

I noticed that the total time they add to with PIC and dual received is not the best way to measure total flight time for an aircraft. You can log PIC and Dual Received for the same flight hours during training.

What did they say specifically about this? My flight time total under applicant summary is a lot more than my logbook total time because the app double counts when I logged PIC and dual received at the same time. How am I supposed to log or add the total time?

Where do you even see an “applicant summary”? I don’t see that anywhere.

So do y’all make a new job entry when you upgrade at the same company?

I just entered dual received as only the times I was a student and not certified for the airplane to get around this. Figured it’s better to have my totals match my logbook rather than having a bunch of extra hours. Worked for me, got the CJO and was never asked about it.

Currently at an LCC. Noticed on your websites job requirements they changed the 1000 turbine from minimum to preferred. When did they make that change?

Actually, I discovered that if you put the same company in twice it will then break down further into “company positions”. So you’ll be able to put in your date range for both captain and first officer positions. Just do it like you’re putting it in as separate jobs. Then, after you save, it’ll break it down on the summary page. I guess it all depends on how detailed you want to be.

COMPANY:
Discount Air Lines

POSITIONS:
Captain: xx/xx/xxxx to present.
First Officer: xx/xx/xxxx to xx/xx/xxxx

Around fall. A Buddy met them at a job fair and they said come back at 1000 fixed wing turbine then randomly emailed him in October to take the hogan. He was at 750.

Click the symbol in the upper right that looks like a “save/submit” button (but isn’t actually a save button. It’s right next to where it says “save and exit”. It’ll bring up a PDF version of your application. Be careful though. Even though it looks like a save/submit button, it only brings up the summary. It doesn’t actually save or submit the app or send you an access code email. You’ll find yourself sad if you do this and then close out the app window.
