Not even 2 months since the last one opened. Probably next week.

One document says there are zero 737 captain positions in EWR, another says there are 10 available, and ccs says there are 34 more than what’s on the min max document. Sooooo, what is it?

I would trust the min max document.

Im trying to get 737 LAX FO and am in training right now for the 737. It was not offered it on my initial bid. But has been in the last couple. Do they fill the vacant spots with new hires more junior to you and you just have to hope that there are some spots available? Thank you all in advance…

You will more than 99 percent get LAX 737 FO on this bid.
They could make you go to base you are in now after training for a few months but may not.
Bid LAX 737 FO 100 percent

To answer your question a little more specifically, vacancies have to be awarded to those currently on property before they are are awarded to new hires. So new hires are always offered the non-awarded positions of a previous vacancy during BI. Exactly what of those leftovers is offered is up to crew resources. Now that you are on property, you can bid the current vacancy. If awarded it, you would move no later than the activation date. Most likely sooner, though.
