But you also need to analyze the demand side of the equation, not just the pilot supply: To make solid, long-term decisions you need to to have a solid grasp of the fleet transition plans and how they affect fleet staffing requirements (not just overall, but within each base). Also how the COVID rebound, delivery hiccups (787,737Max), and MX/AD groundings (777, 737Max) create short-term irregularities... The present is just a momentary glitch in the matrix. |
Speaking of glitches...
When you look at the latest snapshot specific for DEN 737 FO, it says ~12 awarded and 10 unfilled. The min max only had ~10 vacancies. So I'm assuming that 10 unfilled is a bug. If it's not a bug, i need to get to work on figuring out why I'm not popping up in those 10 unfilled. (bid in, looks right to me....). Helpful thoughts? Thanks. |

The additional vacancies are from secondary vacancies, meaning people who bid out of DEN 737 FO. The only thing that would prevent you from filling one would be if you aren’t a 737 FO (there are others, but I think you’re a new hire).
I was assuming the additional from secondaries are the 2 over the initial 10 offered in the min/max (currently showing 12 awarded in the snapshot but then 10 more unfilled). |

3636381]the weird thing is if you look at snapshots from a few days ago, it included up to 22 filled spots. Then jumped down to 11 or 12 filled and 10 unfilled. Seems like a glitch
if there are 10 vacancies announced, 10 people are showing awarded that BES, but also showing 10 unfilled… that means 10 people who were in that BES have bid out to something else, thus creating secondary vacancies. The total vacancy for that BES is now 20. |
Hopefully they, and the company, are realizing there's a reason to not bid while the contract is unknown.

You can count the people moving out by just searching DEN 737 FO. It’s correct. Like Hummingbear said Help Hub that or call. |
