All that having been said, and supposing you are right that this really is all just about a single issue, I’d argue that there are a lot of single issue (Section 3) yes voters out there, but in the end, why does that matter? Everyone votes for what is most important to them & then we tally the votes.

No one who has raised concerns over this contract has in any way delayed the process. You won’t get your retro check any sooner if the dissenters stay silent, so I don’t see what harm is being done here.

The 171 email was a total embarrassment. 2 reps pressured into voting no by a nearly 40 page unintelligible tirade written by a lunatic that somehow still has a job here despite several incidents that would cost most of us our career. Shameful. Fortunately the cult that follows along lock step is a tiny percentage of our group.
