I think everyone knows what’s not written on the wall. AA is the laughing stock of the 3. From management, APA, contract, bases, balance sheet…it really is a joke.

I’ve never felt that way at all.

APA is pretty bad though and probably on their way out at some point.

Wouldn’t say their contract and bases are a joke though.

Not sure why every pilot thinks they are a CFO, their balance sheet was bad at one point but improving. But I don’t have experience in analyzing the finer points of a balance sheet. I don’t consider myself an expert from reading a daily seekingalpha, Bloomberg, or CNBC article.

Guess whatever makes one feel better though, just crap on another company to make themselves feel superior rofl.

AA has been the easiest to commute on, always friendly, great people. They also have great bases, good gates, they seem to be a little more focused on domestic, nothing wrong there, UAL feels a little weak on domestic at times. AA has a good product and I hope they are able to climb out of their debt quickly. A 3 way of competition is healthy for the consumer and my experience with AA is that they are a good product. YMMV.

This just makes me laugh. My father was UAL and I can assure you he would have disagreed at times during his time there. This industry is a fickle mistress but I'm glad you've found somewhere that works for you.

you must be pretty young because EVERY airline goes through good times and bad times. Your opinion is AA is a joke, we will most likely be the laughing stock of the industry at some point and we will all be eating some humble pie. BTW I don’t feel that way about AA. I have had nothing but good experiences with them while jump seating. Thank you guys.

Perception lags behind reality.
