I'm 45% in BES. With just that info alone, what does it mean? That's what the summary gives you. You said you'd never bid off the vacancy page. I said the same thing. Nor would I bid knowing a percentage without knowing what that percentage is going to get me. I'm top 10% SFO 756 - awesome! - until I look at the bid package (and obviously SFO). That's all I was saying.
I guess I'm missing the reason for your sarcasm. I was trying to add value to this discussion and help the guy asking the question; not trying to step on your toes. Been a member here long enough that I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

For those that are awarded captain in BI, I understand they’ll be an FO in that base until captain upgrade requirements are met (about a year).
There haven’t been any SFO FOs in BI for the last few months. So for the foreseeable future, will the bottom of the SFO 737 FO list just be new hire captains waiting for upgrade? Seems like a strange situation. Is there that little of a need for FOs in SFO?

Junior mostly due to the expense of living in the Bay Area & the WX complications of commuting there. Reserve is reserve but much more palatable if you live in base. That is true of the old contract & the new.
The calculus is pretty simple supply & demand. The increased pay of upgrade is not sufficient compensation for the associated loss of QOL & relative seniority to entice enough volunteers. This is also true of both the old contract & new.
