Your best bet is to cut out the middlemen and the X factors you can’t control and meet the hiring team directly at a job fair.

Sometimes six weeks, sometimes six months, sometimes never. Depends on the applicant background, interview performance, employee performance and reputation within the CPO and CP reputation/clout in Flight Operations. CP meet and greets can be very hit or miss.

I did a UA pilot sponsored M&G, not sure if that's still a thing. Seemed to go well and CP stated I should hear something soon for an official interview but that call never came. I then went to a job fair and actually ended up having my face to face with the same CP at the job fair, again stated they'd get me an interview slot. Never happened. I did get one after I put down another legacy as an employer though but ultimately decided not to pursue UA further.

Are all job fair M&Gs created equal? Folks I know met with pilot recruiters at some events, but when I went to OBAP 2025 and it was only an HR employee, and was billed as a 'resume review'. Seems, anecdotally at least, that some events like a resume/app review aren't the same weight as others
