This falls under a whole different category of extremely poor judgment that requires a whole lot more than simply mentoring.
Exactly. This is outside the umbrella of a half wing.

Yep. But if it's true that it was a female, we'll always be able to rely on you for standing up for females in aviation and how they're opressed. See the thread about the batting coach in the CA seat.

Maybe just shut up and realize the traction of what happened here that some knew of and you tried to deflect.

The guy who allegedly has the name of said JS only has 1 post. Go figure.

All UAL pilots still have a spot on my jumpseat. Except for one. Please do not hesitate to list. I sure have enough of you every month! I might have a question….

The only war I'd absolutely fight with United pilots over this would be a meme war, and whoever has me in tears and stitches with their memes wins. We've got some real contenders on our side, but I've also seen a few United ones. Bottom line, I've had some good laughs yesterday, and this would be the "war" totally worth having. Unleash the creativity and humor!

With regards to jumpseat, that's sacred and no, I would never leave a United (or any other airline for that matter) brother or sister at the gate with an open seat, FO Drop-a-Dime included.

Stepping back from social media, I did wonder what kind of a moron would do something like this, and it just doesn't compute. Seriously, what pilot would ever do something like this??! I did see a story where the United FO in question apparently told the story that the crew got a tad slow on approach before putting the flaps out and it was her husband apparently that called the FAA. Don't know if it's true or not, but this does strike me as plausible as I just don't see an airline pilot doing something this egregiously stupid. Maybe I'm being naive. In any case, the gal appears young and early on in her career... while I do think she needs a stern talking to and a course correction, I don't think she should necessarily be Tim Martins'ed.

I'd welcome her back on my jumpseat, but I'd give her a piece of my mind over this incident, but I'm sure our United brothers and sisters got this covered.
