Even when I go to Asia or Europe and have a Polaris seat, the jet lag hits me (especially coming back from Asia). If there was enough domestic flying on the WBs and junior guys could hold it, I'd bid that in a heartbeat...
Domestic flying? You mean min pay guarantee per day? Who in the hell wants to do that?!?!?

what do they say about one man and his trash…

To me, domestic WB+756 is the best job here. Average credit is about 6 hours / day, mostly day flying, minimal delays because they need the plane on the other side for a global flight. I never minded working a day or 2 more per month because many times I landed in base at 10a, and was out the next day at 9a. That time off felt like a day off still.

when on reserve, it is hard to get jacked around because once you hit the hub, there is so little you can do with your remaining flight time.

SFO777 looks to be my dream bid. Hawaii, domestic, and good intl if you want that.

Does this bid indicate any ewr and/or dc 320 vacanies on the fo side? Or many east coast nb captain vacancies?

I know alot of people say EWR 757 is the best flying in the system. But I think SFO777 is better. More efficient trips, more regional variety. in the 757, you are pretty much going to Europe (and to be fair, they do go to alot of the smaller markets which can be nice) where as the 777 is europe, asia, OZ, NZ. Syd is 28 hour 4 day, late show and early release 58 hours away. Obviously senior, but i often see more junior pilots able to trade into it.

SFO 777 might be the best fleet/domicile in the entire US airline industry right now.

Look at a three day domestic/HI trip $/day…. Then look at say a HKG or TPE trip.

All things being even, which would you rather get paid in a day? 😉
