to avoid soviet airpsce completely lest they are "detained" under some trumped up charges

Sad as we have been planning on expanding west coast to India market (Bangalore)since before Covid

Tweek the route on GC mapper to SFO-NRT-BKK and it is 70 nm longer and avoids Russia
I did a bunch of SFO-SIN we usually did not go that far North

Doesn’t United block a lot of seats on IAH-SYD?

UAL does SFO-SIN twice a day, comes no where near Russian airspace. SGN and BKK are just a few degrees to the right coming out of SFO. There may be days were a shift north and west for winds might be a little advantageous for BKK, but still completely doable for the 789, which is what the hold up has been, BA deliveries.

Well for a new rumor…WTH is happening in 171 that has the outgoing CA rep so fired up? Probably to do with the anti-vax lawsuit.

These people are a problem looking for a place to happen. The vax thing … whatever it’s debatable but these people have long track records of pure nonsense hanging on them. The lawyers are buying their 4th house off of Alpa dues dollars and are more than happy to drag out the chaos.

They passed a local council resolution that no pilot could be compelled to fly the 777-300 that had the pride koala decal, and would be pay protected accordingly. If the flying public knew that these whackadoodles were ferrying them around, the share price would plummet.

Ironically, I suspect most of these snowflakes are simultaneously complaining on Telegram or Truth Social about safe spaces.
