A few bullet points from the ALPA Code of Ethics
I haven't always lived up to the code, but I do try.
United sent out a priority message today titled: Social media guidelines reminder
It doesn't take much to connect the dots on why it was sent.
If your demons take over and you can't help yourself to make vitriolic comments, log off and do something else. You could do long term damage to your career.
- They will realize that they represent the airline to all whom meet them, and will at all times keep their personal appearance and conduct above reproach.
- They will be a good citizen of their country, state and community, taking an active part in their affairs, especially those dealing with the improvement of aviation facilities and the enhancement of air safety.
- They will conduct all their affairs in a manner which reflects credit on themselves and their profession.
- They will not publish articles, give interviews, or permit their name to be used in any manner likely to bring discredit to another pilot, the airline industry, the profession or to ALPA.

Actions have consequences. I am sure Andrew will be suspended for a bit and will end up keeping his job. He’s an ALPA status rep and will have a lot of resources to help defend him. His comments along with others on the left are uneducated and quite disgusting.

Kirk’s stance and any stance allowing unfettered and unrestricted use of the 2nd amendment puts you, me, very ironically him at greater risk of getting unnecessarily murdered by someone who has no record with a gun. Until many of you can realize that there are far to many guns in the US, acts like this will continue to happen.
At this point talk is cheap, there is a very real problem in this country with gun ownership and without action completely innocent people will continue to be unnecessarily murdered. Next it could be one of us, your kid at school, a democrat law marker, or all people Charles Kirk.
