I don’t disagree, I just haven’t seen much in contracts where the company puts a provision in and doesn’t use it. I imagine that cost them quite a bit of negotiating capital

Last time I checked, I’m pretty sure Piedmont, Envoy and PSA are all wholly owned. Pilots have automatic flow but that’s a far cry from being on the same seniority list. I’m kind of not sure I see What would be so “never seen before” about doing on the United side?

Well, that's the problem. PBS vs Line bidding is like using Miley Cyrus and J Edgar Hoover to compare Homosexualtiy vs. Heterosexuality. G-line is hyper specific to the United Pilot CBA. You could design a PBS without that. Or make G-line a line mandate unless you bid only reserve. Very very specific to the contract language, not PBS vs line.
