Note that I didn't mention Section 8, as that has already expired.

But again, I fail to see the rationale for the company to want to terminate any sections outside of those named in section 13-A. And even within 13-A, I don't see the company cancelling any section other than 7-C.
I truly hope you're right, my understaning came from a dialog with my LEC rep that prompted several rounds of email questions to members of the negotiating committee (by my rep.). I don't claim to be an expert, I'm only repeating what was explained to me.

For the record, I like your interpretation better and agree that 13-A is titled Partial Termination, and 13-B,D refer to Termination.

This is a question that should be asked thoroughly and often as it obviously could have a negative effect on a furloughed pilot taking employment at CAL, and frankly, UAL furloughees don't need anymore "negative effects".

All of the FO's that will be hired over the first 5-6 months will be making between $180-$80/hour. If the company cancelled the agreement and reduced the pay to first year pay virtually all of them would quit at the same time. There is no way the company would make it thru the summer without massive cancellations costing millions of dollars. The company has little to gain and an incredible amount to loose. Look what happened to Americans share price when pilots retired in unexpected numbers.

I'm sure the Cal "saviors" would give it a go and try to "kill themselves at work"

Not planned to have 7. Wanted 12 in every class. Believe some attempt at gamesmanship by those they thought would fill the class.

I've flown with quite a few of those "saviors". I've found they have a lot in common with **** roaches. They are very difficult to kill, they scurry when a light is turned on, and they tend to fly erratically when spraid with raid. Yes, I do know how to spell **** roaches, my thumb just keeps catching the space bar when I type **** roaches.

Coto,

As to pay alone, a UAL pilot now at CAL will not have their pay impacted by a "partial termination" as stated in the agreement. Yes, UCH can do many things if they enact that, but the 7.b jobs and conditions aren't effected with regards to pay.

Frats,
Lee
