I have no problem with the CAL side sharing in the profits as I am sure the CAL side is willing to not have any Denver crew base opening up until we are all eligible to bid it.

Looks like Phase 1 of "Divide and Conquer" is complete.

Yeah, because that's an apples-to-apples comparison.

I take it you are just thrilled to access Denver flying with the UAL side potentially being forced out. Nice.

Some management type is lurking on this forum with a big woody in his (her) pants. This is exactly what they want. Let's not turn on each other here. Especially since nothing has happened or been officially announced.......yet.
Emotions are high at both sides, we've all collectively eaten enough $h!t for a lifetime, stay the course boys.

Management types do not have big woodies. They have little tiny flaccid ones.

It appears as though you have no idea how the CAL system bids work. If not ONE pilot bid the DEN737 base, the company WILL staff it starting with the most junior person. Then who will you be upset at? I guess you're alright with a IAH320 base? how about the dilution of the CAL 737 flying? good with that I assume? The only person "winning" in these situations is the company.

No now I will be forced out of IAH so some United puke can bring his or her Airbus down here. But hey your getting profit sharing and I'm not, I guess that's win win for me.

This is only directed toward this one hack, I AM WITH THE REST OF MY UAL BROTHERS, even if I am getting screwed short term.

Sorry, but you are barking up the wrong tree here. I'm a UAL pilot and I CERTAINLY don't want to be forced out of my base, but how is this the fault of the CAL pilots? IF UAL management pulls this boner move and actually starts shifting bases around and forcing pilots out, of COURSE there will be some guys who are exceptionally happy - on both sides of the fence. There will be CAL guys who happen to live in DEN who will welcome the news, and there will be UAL pilots in IAH who will welcome the news. But the vast majority of us will consider it just another screw job by our out-of-touch management. Irregardless, it is RIDICULOUS that the CAL pilots don't get to participate in profit sharing. But I don't hear a lot of them complain to US that we are getting it. Just like I don't hear a lot of UAL pilots complain to the CAL pilots that they still have a pension and we don't. Let's keep the anger where it belongs; with the idiots who destroy the morale at this company further with every move they make.
