Feb 14... will begin with the most advanced pre flight and walk a round ever performed. Unless it is a fresh 737 from Boeing and brand new I'm sure it will need some maintenance to make sure it FLYS SAFE!

Why would you anounce on a PUBLIC Forum the DATE and Method you intend to cause Delays by Doing a REALLY SAFE 737 Pre-flight walkaround???
What Have you BEEN Doing up to Now? "Schlocking" the Preflights??
Jeez Guys! why don't you just go to Jeff and tell him to his FACE you want to GROUND the 737-524's and put those pilots out on the Street so that they can be in the "Brotherhood of Furghoughed UAL Pilots"???
Whatever you do is OK but to announce it on a PUBLIC Forum?? Maybe you'd better ask the UAL ALPA group how that worked out for THEM so that YOU TOO might be included in the last Court order that befell THEM!! It appears you need to get some GAME about you. You're about to lean into a Left HOOK!

I thought my job was to do a thorough and safe preflight of any aircraft I step in. That's what my primary flight instructor taught me all those years ago. Not sure why it would be different one day to the next.
Not every bulb can be the brightest, but at least they can aspire to be.

While the CAL culture was purported to be a great culture, the facts are *clear. It would have been hard for us to imagine it could be worse than *ours, but we are all living the evidence. What perpetuated the fable *was maybe if you say it enough, it comes to be believed, at least in *some environments. The truth is spun for effect. Maybe it was because *Gordon Bethune was dynamic or because it is from where he brought the *airline (recall how many former CAL pilots we have who left to come *here).
She's been desperately trying to communicate what is being observed from her vantage point but I'm not sure folks are hearing it. Her video says a lot. Listen especially for the part that there are no UAL management reps at the negotiating table, just CAL. There is a reason for this. A CAL contract will save them hundreds of millions of dollars per year over the UAL contract, despite pay scales.

I thought my job was to do a thorough and safe preflight of any aircraft I step in. That's what my primary flight instructor taught me all those years ago. Not sure why it would be different one day to the next.
