Personally I hope they get it again ONLY if the Valentines Day massacre still occurs and it helps us ALL get a JCBA. Somehow I don't think the CO pilots ire will be up enough after the band aid.

Maybe though when the UCH management opens a IAH 320 base and the CO pilots can't bid it and they see their 737 flying decrease ... one can hope that they will then be angry enough. UCH will certainly open an ORD 737 and DEN 737 base. That will make some of them happy and raise the Blood Pressure at UA.

ALL UAL pilots are happy that the CO pilots got the money instead of Smisek or shareholders. The UA pilots were just hoping that the CO pilots would get p*$$&% about something and start to fight.
Coach, your response appears to be another sniper attack at CAL pilots when the thread is about unity. Why? Tearing one group down to build up another will not help FWIW...A fact, 737 flying will not decrease, as that fleet is growing and the CAL side has fight, just like UA. We may disagree, but attacking each other and building division is doing mgts job

Rumor from an unreliable source(some FODM): the company is looking at the economic viability of operating two separate subsidiary airlines.
I can feel the whipsaw coming.

The injunction sure seems to say UAL ALPA as well, but reality is we all live under it. Think about that before suggesting we are pansies for not undertaking an action the judge would pimp slap us over. But what do I know I'm not a brain surgeon.

Yes it does say alpa and set us back quite a ways but don't think for one minute that all the united pilots were involved in this action. Did I suggest something?

Hilarious. Now that CAL pilots have got theirs, its time for us to be unified. Some UNITY you guys display over there. Hopefully the CAL unionist will step up and teach you the meaning of unity. So far, I haven't seen it.

(Hint: the enemy is UniCal management. The time for unity was right after the merger announcement. Any time you guys are ready, we would love to have you join us.)

Will the CAL pilots or will they not start to stop doing the Company favors? From my seat it looks like the VD massacre that everyone at CAL promised if they didn't get PS never occurred. My point … was it because PS placated everyone? Was hoping upon hope that the VD massacre would still happen ... that would have built the unity you are espousing that the PS destroyed.

What are the CAL pilots going to do next year when we still don’t have a JCBA and the CAL pilots start again with the PS issue? It still isn’t in the CAL contract.

As far as operating separate subsidiaries without a JCBA, UAL will burn their side down quicker than the CAL side can build up to replace. That would be a very unwise strategy even for this management.
