Righttttt, cause what we need now is to throw another over inflated egotistical pilot group into the mix cause were getting along so great right now and accomplishing so many things together.
When it comes to throwing pilot groups under the bus, you have us beat hands down.

I can explain,
In the Mid 80's (1986 or 87) We got Frontier airlines to paint and deliver all 25 of their 737-291A's to United with the intent of "merging" (they said) However United's ALPA "supposedly" "deep sixed" the deal because they demanded the Frontier Pilots come up to the Full UAL pay scale Immediately while UAL managrement wanted a phased climb to full salary. (knowing what I know NOW?? ALPA got "Played" by Management into being the "heavies" in this convoluted tale)
At Least that was the story WE Non=ALPA types heard.
I'll bet Nobody REALLY knows whether this was a load of Bunk of not. But We did fly those airplanes until 2001. And?? They were Fine Airplanes too.
