Default CAL Profit Sharing Amounts

FWIW the CAL side can now see their PS amount in their payroll advice screen. Mine was 1600+ more than last year. Little less than 1% increase over last year.

Maybe this is CAL math you're using, but how much PS did you get last year?

That's awesome for you guys. I take it you mean 1% greater of W2 than last year, unless you got 160K last year for a PS check. Here at L-UAL, we got about 5% of W2. For me, that is about 12% less than last year. This even though the UCH profit was bigger this year. But, I am sure there is no dilution going on. Jeff has assured us of it. Enjoy your PS check. That was a great little side deal Jay cut for ya'll.

Over 20% less for me actually. 5.9% (2011) 4.74% (2012)...

4.74/5.9= .80 or a 20% cut on greater total profit. Nice.

You are correct. I was going from memory on my last year's ps check. After checking, it is more like 15% for me.

I don't think anyone on the CAL side is celebrating the fact that the 5% pay-out is significantly less than what we should have been paid via Contract '02. This is a pay cut, plain and simple.

oh. You want to bring past contracts into the discussion?? OK. Let's talk about UAL Contract 2000. It's as relevant as your Contract 2002.

The CAL guys have never had a good contract. Why do think they were so quick to gobble up PS. The only thing they ever had in their contract was scope. I believe Jeff thought he could take it away anytime he wanted. With J. pos leading the charge it seems more likely they will try to get it through a side-deal.
