Naw....
Just saw one of the Pilots that I know ending up in GUM. Was wondering who/what he was running from, thus the phone call, and the info above.
Capiche Dumbfounded, Dex, Catan........??

Nice try.....I'll leave the aspirations of Flt Ops Management to those like you!! You are perfect for that position, already have the 'required' attitude & personality!! The info I gathered was nothing "top secret", just chose to find factual info outside the rumor/bash board that you continue to furnish.

Keep smiling sunshine, your special!!

Thanks! Would you introduce me to FRED? Never mind - I don't want to spend all weekend on this forum. You're doing a good job - keep up the good work!

Don't mean to be inflammatory, but I know a LOT of FO's who'd like to be captains but aren't senior enough to hold it, yet we're bringing back pilots from "another" airline and putting them in the left seat? Something isn't adding up here. Enquiring minds want to know. Is this some sort of "side deal" made to appease the UAL pilots?
10 years to make Captain? 10 years doesn't even get you on the property at L-UAL
Just remember feeling this way when the SLI comes out.

So you don't want to hear that I upgraded in three years. Of course, age 65 ended that.

Well this statement certainly blows the UAL "career expectations" out of the water. I've been at CAL since mid 1998, flowed back to Express for eight months, and have been a captain at CAL for five years. Guess CAL pilots career expectations must be a LOT better than L-UAL.
