Carriers going out of business don't buy other airlines. Who acquired who?

Although you're comment is straight out of fantasy-land, who cares? We're all stuck aboard the RMS Titanic and have to figure out how not to hit the iceberg AND get paid properly while doing so.

The arbitrators will produce an Integrated Seniority List, not an Integrated Pilots Currently on Property List.
Why this topic continues to be batted around here is beyond me. The LUAL and LCAL attorneys will each present their best case in front of the arbitrators and the chips will fall from there.

Are we rehashing this fairy tale again? Perhaps you should ask the 90%+ of surviving management types, (CAL), who are left about this one.

But I agree, its out of our control. The chips will fall.

That's easy. The furloughed pilots are on the UAL Seniority List, therefore they will return (if they choose to come back when recalled) to the line at UAL when retirements start.
