We need to get a JCBA ASAP. The difference between what the company will eventually offer and what most people want is not that huge. Meanwhile, every day we wait, we are losing out on extra money we could be earning (Because there won't be full retro) and the bottom 1/2 UAL guys get screwed while waiting.

1. Get cobra from ur previous job 2. Stop mountain climning 3. Eat organic foods 4. Get exercise but be wary of treadmills 5. Use spouse and or adopt out kids for a free 6 month trial 6. Get a quick, bogus, and vegas marriage 7. Dont watch lsu football bc u will have a heart attack 8. Insert any decreasing possible injury type behavior 9, strap a mattress on u at all times 10. Stop driving |
Yup 650$ of Cobra a month. The sIx months is from first day of class. The longer training is the better. Pay is more in training plus continuous perdiem. The perdiem is usually enough to cover cobra. At least it was for me. I had 20000$ in a bank acct to live off of cause 2400$ a month wasn't enough. And if it's your first kid they give you 6weeks I believe to reelect your coverage. I waited 5 weeks, kid was covered under wife, it's like a 200$ difference between family coverage and 2adults.

Thanks for the suggestions, Cobra, well I guess my monthly pay should cover that. Now if I can only figure out how to pay the mortgage, car insurance, gasoline, utilities, and still put food on the table we should be just fine.
Epidurals are overrated anyways. And who needs a hospital, home birth is The "in" thing now, right? |

With an 80/20 plan and no complications I think it was about 2000$ out of pocket for me.
