Scab is a Scab. Many in the situation described above did not cross the line.

I used to think like that, until a guy that was out full term gave me an education. It is not that black and white. TO ME the crawl backs, while still scabs, are in a different bin.

There is always an excuse.

If there was another bid to come after bid 14-02 and was exactly like bid 14-02, you might actually have a leg to stand on. As it is now, you come across as a low-life opportunist that thought he had a chance to get his so-called glorious life back that he used to enjoy at United and now can't because the one thing that stands in your way in another pilot group that you would just soon as **** on and then set fire to, almost in the same manner that you threw your furlouged brethern under the bus to keep what little you could get after two trips to BK.

Maybe you are both.....
+1

Having said that; this kind of discussion is all really tiresome, and won't impact the SLI one way or another.
Plus, wasn't there just an sUAL vacancy bid that I wasn't allowed a crack at as an LCal guy?

I think that was the original deal: Until SLI, we operate as separate carriers when it comes to planned aircraft deliveries and associated
vacancies ...

If Sudhanshu Jain is "some analysts"

(I know, I just posted about how meaningless this discussion was, then HAD to add another post ...
carry on.)

Yep nothing beats that chest thumping rhetoric. The 'many' you describe for the most part do not hold ill will towards those that crawled back as I described. Yeah yeah scab is a scab. Remind me again of a time you put 18 months on the picket line St Union Pilot!?!

Slamming someone does not bolster your argument. Agree to disagree or provide evidence that supports your position.

Congratulations for your strong conviction to offer support for those who crossed a lawful picket line. I hope you enjoy your layovers and the camaraderie you share. You are definitely in the group who judges each scab individually for their actions thereby allowing the opening for future scabs to justify their actions.

There are others however, who see this issue as black and white. In their mind, there are no excuses for scabbing. Albeit professional, their interaction with scabs are clear as not to give false pretenses that scabbing is acceptable in any terms.
