What surprises me in both the video and the opening statement is CAL ALPA's failure to reference the tenets of ALPA's merger policy.

Don't need a fancy video with a beautiful woman for that. Pictures work just fine. Btw, how's the view back there?

No..No - SpecialTrackings video should be required watching for all cal pilots. I was referring to the content of a post that needs to be repeated. ************************************************** **********************************************.

Here's the post you left out.

They are made perfectly clear in the video and the arbitration panel is well aware of the multitude of factors.

Here let me translate for you Staller since you missed the context of his retort... he's referring to the old whale as being a dinosaur and that its pay banding, which was voted on and accepted in the JCBA, gives it no edge over the 787. So what's the point the of the picture? My plane is bigger than yours? Heh, nice one... sadly for you ego stroking and old hulking frame size is not what pay or equity is based on.

ALPA merger policy things like longevity are optional and since Continental comes alphabetically before United and the 737 comes before 747 numerically, they have a strong case.

Exactly! This whole wide-body focused argument by some LUAL pilots is ignoring this basic fact. What difference does it make if you're flying a 747 or a Cessna 172 if the 172 pays more than the 747! Look at the regionals that fly 70 seat airplanes for essentially the same as other pilots get paid to fly a 50 seater. Category of airplane is pretty meaningless without the big picture of compensation.

Of course, according to the UAL MEC "prestige" of flying a 747 should count for something. The regionals have SJS, while these guys apparently have BJS.

Mitch didn't you hear...long haul pilots are 2 inches taller by average, have square jaws, drive a better car, have a better looking wife/husband and just deserve more than us lowly domestic drivers, now suck it up and roll over to the entitled red clippers
