Congratulations! We are excited to have you come aboard! Nerve-wracking, exhilarating, refreshing, and about a million other words convey getting the notification that "you've been hired"! It's a great feeling, isn't it? Study hard, keep a positive attitude, and remember if you fly with someone you don't see "eye to eye" with, that it is only a temporary thing and chances are you won't have to deal with them again! With all the internet angst between different L- pilot groups, it's refreshing to see the welcoming mat laid out for those that are getting hired and to see the true pride in the group, regardless of where you came from.

I can honestly say this is a dream come true for myself.. I seriously am in shock that I have even been given this opportunity.. Not to just work at United.. But to learn from everyone I am about to meet! I can't wait.. And I remember listening to rhapsody in blue between b and c at ord at the age of 5 and wanting to work here.. This is amazing!!

I must say, as a new hire at CAL, I paid for nada. Except health insurance. THAT I paid for.
