I don't know the gentlemen but 10 of them walking by as you got a shoeshine in IAH has to be a record. Maybe you just haven't earned their respect. I wouldn't be surprised if pierce wasn't working directly with Jeff to create the rife between the 2 groups. His greed has create a career long situation that will continue to foster the mistrust you now feel. If it would make you feel better, wear a red feather in your hat, I'm sure the UAL guys will acknowledge you.

Btw...employees make companies too. We all want fair treatment by mgmt but we can and do make a difference even if mgmt can't do the right thing. You know that?

My post referred to a pattern of behavior for years leading up to and including arbitration. That is my point.

Please enlighten us. How can we as pilots make a difference?

It's good you are entertained but you need to try to stay focused. You are a good guy and this big divide the water boy has created will be hard to overcome. A little advice - don't walk the edges or the cracks and walk the center of the room with head high like you have purpose. You never know some will think you are a United pilot.

Could have been but I would have likely given you a high-five and said God Bless you - that would have been just for you of course. We do have a lot of grumpy old guys but they've earned it. I'd go to war with them anytime.

The water boys days are numbered - it's surprising that you cal guys don't see what he's done to you and you future. I really don't blame him as much as I do the cal line pilot. You guys are happy to stay in the early 80's mold even when you had a better choice. Don't blame anybody else - you did it.
