I thought they had guys furloughed.

Our "union" doesn't have a cap with guys on furlough as far as I know.
Plus we came up with a really cool way to screw them even more in the new JCBA. Yessir, lets march in lockstep all ye Stepford Pilots!

With PBS (Pathetic Bidding System) you get what Hal wants you to get, irrespective of how many thousands you toss at the variables. Pilot input is essentially meaningless because its a shell game unless you're hyper senior in your seat. Three Card Monte and you're the chump! The system really sucks, and from what I hear, uCAL's is even worse. To put a cherry on top, its my understanding that we're transitioning to the uCAL system.

There are your happy thoughts for the day!

Just so you know...PBS stands for Probably Be Sick.

Yes NWAret, but that does not seem to matter to many on our property.

Yeah thanks for the bump in pay, lack of workrules we had BEFORE you guys came over with a contract that OBVIOUSLY pointed out that our draconian and expensive contract was unnecessary.

Question: If you were king of the airline, and you had two groups. One, that held you to your contract with them, or two, the other that *****d themselves out with zero work rules, and BEGGED to fly until their eyes bled.......which side would you grow???

Yeah Moomba did it to you.... your welcome, is there anything we can do now to make life better... EAL family also, I moved on though....Yeah my eyes bled, and we all begged to fly?... What a crock, where you come up with that stuff is beyond me but if thats what you believe go ahead and let it eat you.... Welcome to your new airline....

You were flying 90 hrs a month, can't anymore and you say the CAL side was working till their eyes bled????? Good one !! I was doing wide body 18 days off 75-78 hrs. Look in the mirror.

Moombabeach 07-02-2013 11:05 AM

Your blaming me for Eastern Airlines too?? That's a good one. How about Obamacare is that CALs fault? Our work rules were degraded as the result of a concessionary contract, much as your pay and scope was given up. Stop blaming us for all your problems I do the same as you, show up, fly, follow the contract and vote, the rest is out of my hands. I've been a member in good standing w Alpa for close to 20 years, don't hang your bad luck on me.

You get paid M5D. So you can get 90 hours credit for a month. Without having to sit in an airplane for all of those 90 hours.

You are kidding, right? We had guys on Furlough, yet the union told us high time does not effect staffing. Give me a break.

BTW, imho, anything above 70 hours credit:mad:, you are working too much.

Sled, it's all according to your point of view....Just because you like them don't think its blanket coverage for all....Or I guess in your point of view" how dare someone think different than me I'm a United guy, I saved you!!!" I'd love to hear you gloating like you do here in the crew room sometime, but in reality you probably wouldn't... you just like to be tough on here. Sooner or later you'll grow up and maybe get that left seat. Sled, the world does not revolve around you. Get the point?

What? you don't like your new contract? well tough sheet. Just wait about a month. I will be dancing in Houston Ops, celebrating my huge WINDFALL. ;) I'll be the guy with the FU t-shirt.

Those guys will still have the opportunity to help out the company when they've screwed up the staffing and want pilots to fix it.

The rest of us will enjoy the nice union rules.
