Or, is that list from last night current as of today?
Corrected to current as of today without the constructive notice pilots (new hires).

Note: I only slid 179 CAL numbers below the UAL proposal. Gained 1800+ CAL numbers from the CAL proposed staple job. That speaks volumes.
You need to look at your "active" % because that is more realistic in terms of bidding and QOL among other things. 80% to 64% is a huge gain. By using people who are not on property to uplift your % is a little misleading. Those people sure don't help you get a better vacation week, weekends off, and holidays off, so you shouldn't use them to boost your % overall.

I am fine with the list and I hope we can move on and make the New UAL a great place to work.

Except for the guys that were junior around the 70%/80% for CAL and 100% + for the UAL guys. Is that how you (or Hoss can answer to since he's pretty level headed also!) read the new list. I'll try to figure mine # out and come back and give you a more accurate one after your guys response!

My % on the SLI= 34% and I think I was real close to that on May 2010 CAL list. I do think the only people that have a "beef" on this whole thing are the NON furloughed pilots at CAL that were put behind the furloughed pilots at UAL? One of Hoss's big points!! And no Hoss, I'm not trying to "flame" you, I actually agreed with you on a prior ISL post, I just want to see if you feel the same now that it's CAL pilots getting your "unfair scenario"?
Hi Probe,

Indeed. The numbers I was using were the 2010 numbers that were listed on the LUAL initial proposed seniority list. That number lined up with my current LUAL percentage within .5% (or at least current as of July... we only get our seniority updated once a year). So essentially during the last 3 years my percentage has gone unchanged due to limited retirements and general LUAL shrinkage. The initial LUAL proposal would have given me a 1.2% bump, and the final list kept me within .5% of relative seniority.

As far as I can tell, you are correct in your assumption that for most of the list it stayed pretty close to relative seniority until you get down towards the bottom.

If you don't have access to the LUAL proposed list that had your 2010 percentage and the proposed change shoot me a PM with your email and I'll send along the PDF. Someone on the forum kindly pointed me to it on the LUAL MEC site last night.

I don't think so. I think it was corrected to April 2013. There are many pilots still on the list that have retired in the last 5 months.

They used the Oct 2010 lists to construct the ISL (65%/35%), then removed individuals not on the list as of April 1, 2013. If that's what you mean, then you are correct. See page 36/37 of the award. I misspoke. Didn't mean "today", but instead the 2013 certified lists.

UAL pre 11% below me

now 9.5% below me

at retirement (pilots senior to me):

UAL pre 8%

now 19% but hey that's life. Can't complain, I mean really what good does it do to get your blood pressure up (unless you are senior to me and younger)

cheers,

T

Does anybody have the 2010 CAL merger date list? I can't seem to find a copy. CCS is of no help as it seems to be down. PM me if you have one. Thanks!
