Half of my "crossings" were from down under or Asia. And, I think most of us pilots that actually fly those routes consider them crossings. I didn't bother adding the 600 plus North Atlantic "crossings" in the last 30 years. Not once did I land in Goose and pi$$ off 200 customers because of an old POS B767-300 started shacking. Really? ...and all of "OUR" 737's are an inferior product in an overwater market. UA jumped into the HI market with 737's because they're cheap, not because it's a better product.

With over 3300 ocean crossings to and from Hawaii in every type of airplane that flies there, I must say I feel more safe and comfortable in a B737NG than those POS tired UAL B747-400, B-777 cattle cars, and B757 beer cans that have a problem getting off the f'ing gate. A working entertainment system sure is nice on a 5 hour flight.
