The way I was raised, one doesn't take another mans bad situation and turn it around to aggrandize his own.

Start checking 6. You'll probably get cancer tomorrow. Best of luck to you!

Wow, you guys are pathologically grumpy. All he did was said he's had good time in this career. He wasn't insulting or judgemental at all.

I have a lot of respect for anybody who has the courage to quit this job because they're no longer having fun. What's sad is those of you who hate this but don't have the courage to leave or the life skills to fix your crappy attitudes. You guys suck so bad that I'd rather spend a month shadowing Smisek than do a single four-day with one of you angry, self-centered, weak minded children.

Cancer? Really. **** off.

No he wasn't and I'm glad his career has been so charmed. But if you think that his remarks were acceptable given his audience....namely the guy leaving, FurloughedX2, then your world spins on a different axis than mine.

I'll shut up since my opin is apparently not in the majority.

His career hasn't been charmed, he was furloughed too. But his response to it has been to focus on the good things.

Regarding "acceptabilty given this audience?" Please. I'm supposed to censor my comments based on some imaginary demographic of a disgruntled, sUAL majority on this site?

Our world spins on the same axis, James, we just view it differently.

"Acceptable given his audience" is what I typed. Not acceptability to this audience. There is a subtle distinction between the two. And that distinction is why I commented the way I did. And no, you're not expected to censor your comments. Our disgruntled demographic can take it as good as we dish it. Its part of the allure of this place.

Roj. Not sure I see a distinction. I just didn't see anything in his post that was meant to stir things up up or be disrespectful.

Mako,

Do you have that librarians number? Or maybe an E-Mail or something?

I've got both. I'll ask about her sister (for you).

Its all just luck and timing. Sad to see Fx2 leaving, but if he's truly not happy, its the best thing for him.
